I've started this journal to chronicle my journey, first through college, and then through internships, and then through my life as a teacher of the world. I don't just plan on teaching little kisd to play violin, guitar, piano, et cetera; I plan to change the world through art and music. It can be done, and if you say it can't, that will only puch me harder. As I start this journal, I am coming toward the close of my first semester in college, most of my classes at TMCC because of budget restraints, until I can get funding from my FAFSA. I'm fairly confident I will finish the semester with good grades. When this semester is over, I will have finished ENG 101, SPAN 111, MUS 105, MUS 111, MATH 096. This summer I plan to take MATH 120, thus eliminating my need for any more math throughout my college experience. I will also take SPAN 112. I will post my college success checklist (my list of classes to take before I get my degree) when I finish typing it out. That way, at the begining and end of every semester, I can announce what I'm ging to take, and then check off what I've taken, and what grade I got. It will help me to be accountable for myself.
